I helped TeamForm, a new organisation and team management platform, to create concepts for various features. I was an extra hand to bring new features to life not just through visual concepts, but also by thinking deeply about interaction and implementation details.

Global Search Improvement

With only basic search implementation existing, the platform needed more powerful search functions. I presented the client with 2 concepts: a Slack-like search with advanced syntax, and another with more natural keyword search approach.

I identified and laid out detailed user search paths instead of leaving these important details for developers to figure out. This helped the client evaluate complexity levels for both users to understand and developers to build the feature.

OKRs Mapping and Visualisation

The client was looking for ways to provide more value for their customers. With customer OKRs already captured in the system, they wanted to create visualisations to help their customers see a bird's eye view of their OKRs.

I created 2 views: one that maps OKRs in detail using chart form, and a Focus view where users can see the weight distribution across focus areas for their organisation.

Org Chart Visualising and Interaction

As a relatively new software in the market, TeamForm still lacked some essential features. Org chart was one standout need, and I helped create concepts to fill this gap.

I conducted competitor research and created a balanced org chart visualisation that is clean, simple, yet customisable. I also developed a future version concept where users could move employees to different teams using a drag and drop interface.
